First Looks
Looking either like an evil face or one that is a robot from the transformers series the Utechsmart Mars mouse looks to be a very interesting product indeed. With its six buttons then the mouse looks set to be a good contender in the budget gaming mice range.
The overall shape is pleasing and is a full-sized mouse rather than that of the ‘claw’ type and for this writer that is a god send as claw mice are often too small for the hands.

The mouse has a side button on both sides which is ideal for an alt-fire feature and is easily reachable by the thumb as this makes a nice change as most mice I have tested my thumb does not quite reach the switch itself.

The mouse cord is a good length and indeed it is braided with a dense weave which not only looks good but should enhance the life of the product.
Overall the the ergonomics of the UtechSmart Mouse are pleasing to the eye and all buttons are in sensible places and feel robust. Let us move on to t he testing phase and see if the overall attention to detail extends to the actual operation of the product.
